Prayer of the shift worker at r.t.
Lord God, The Father Almighty
I offer this my time volunteering at room temperature
free as a gesture of love for you and for my brothers,
in Union with the singular love of Christ
a to its bid for all of suffering humanity. Father, thou who art the great silence,
give me the gift of inner silence,
because I'm capable of attentive and respectful listening. You, who are the only true light,
give me the gift of discernment,
because I can understand the hearts that speak to me. You, being the sweet and strong word of life,
give me the gift of words that can help you and push you.

I'm ready, open, generous, attractive, accurate
and alert in my service;
I don't miss you ever balance, common sense
and charity in recommending;
that is never the less to my commitment on the side of caution and secrecy.

Remind me to always be humble in the depths of myself,
in order to be in attitudes that I reveal.

Remind me that my service must be a work of
deep sharing, faith and hope.

And make me increasingly aware that “beyond all”
my service to others is valid,
not so much for what I do and what I say,
but for that I “are”.

for that “beyond all” Father, please
give me the grace to be a person of prayer and constant Union with you,
Eternal completion and synthesis of our every move
and let me bring this prayer every day the brothers that you will send me through T.A.
