Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Lady smiled at Juan Diego but invited him not to be discouraged as it was imperative that the mission was accomplished by him; for this to come back the next day by the Bishop to make the request of the Virgin ...

“TELL HIM AGAIN THAT YOU ARE A MESSENGER OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY”.

Even Juan Diego obeyed the Lady and her appointment, taking leave for the evening of the next day.

Being Sunday the next day, Juan Diego went to mass and then again by the Bishop before whom wept bitterly and supplication for the temple that the lady asked. The Bishop listened attentively but, once dismissed him by saying that he would be believed if she brought a sign.

Back Juan Diego at the foot of Tepeyac was again dogged with the Lady to whom he reported the words of Bishop.

Our Lady told him that the next morning would give him the sign required by the Bishop. But at this point being the uncle of Juan, seriously ill and eager for a priest who confessed to finish his days Juan headed into town but to a road different from that normally made the other days just to avoid having to meet Mrs. and having to painfully excuse of not being able to stop with her. ... But our lady came to meet him descending from the mountain and asked him what had happened and where it was headed. Juan Diego spigò that his uncle was very serious for the plague contracted and that he was looking for a priest who could assist him. “My friend don't have to hurt me, forgive me. I promise that tomorrow I will come here to ride”:

The Virgin, smiling reassured him, his uncle would not die, indeed, just at that moment would have healed perfectly ...
